Virago Varnish Show Stopper Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a polish from a new-to-me brand called Virago Varnish to share with you. I was watching a video from JessFace90 on Youtube a few weeks back about this brand and finally got around to browsing their website to pick up a polish or two or five.

The polish I ended up buying is called Show Stopper, originally I planned on getting a few but most of their stuff was sold out *sad face*. Show Stopper is a cobalt blue with blue shimmer throughout. I have a problem with polishes like this, when I see them I want them even though I already have something just like it. In this case it's very similar to a collaboration I did with Contrary Polish last year, which you can see here. I didn't actually realize how similar they were until I put on Show Stopper and its gorgeous so I don't even care haha!

The formula of Show Stopper was fantastic, it was thick in a good way that makes application a breeze. This could easily be a 1 coater if you are careful with application, I wasn't so I needed a very thin second coat. This does dry a bit satin matte, I used top coat for my swatch!

Virago Varnish is available at http://www.viragovarnish.com/, the prices of each polish varies. Show Stopper retails for $8!

  1. This is such a Jen shade :D! Love the glowyness.

  2. I would love to know how this compares to Urban Decay Chaos.
I probably want this anyway, though...

  3. those 2 are such enablers! Love them

  4. I have a weakness for these too....must buy all things with blue shimmer! Its so pretty!

  5. omg...what a gorgeous color...must have it
