Pahlish Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes from Pahlish to share with you! Pahlish is a brand that I've been meaning to try for ages and I just finally got around to picking up a few a couple months ago when she had a polish in her Bespoke batch that I needed in my life.  I ended up getting a couple Bespoke polishes along with one that was in a current collection and a mystery polish! Unfortunately I don't think any of these are available anymore. I'm not too familiar with how Pahlish operates but it seems like things come and go pretty quickly so its a get em while you can kind of situation. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

First up is the mystery polish, it's just labeled as ?. From what I understand the mystery polishes come from samples and testers of unreleased shades. The polish I ended up getting is a white crelly with pink-y red and grey glitter. I really like this, it's something I'd probably buy on its own which is always a nice thing to get when buying a mystery shade! The formula was good, it was sheer at first but built easily. The glitter payoff was good, I used 3 coats for full opacity. The first 2 photos are in the shade and the third photo is out in natural sunlight.

Sailing The Hispaniola is a cobalt blue with silver shimmer and a slight holo. The holo doesn't really shine through in photos but its easy to see in person. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with really nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Squeaky Swings and Tall Grass is a bright green with golden flakes of shimmer and a sprinkle of multi chrome flakies. This was from a Bespoke batch back in April...its the one I saw and needed in my life. As someone who owns a lot of green its rare for me to find an interesting one like this that is completely unique in my collection. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Overall I really like all the polishes I bought, there is 1 more that I picked up but it was seriously impossible to photograph which is why its missing from the post. I do love it though :) I'm glad I finally picked up some Pahlish, I'll definitely be buying again in the future!

  4. She makes beautiful polishes but I've been very disappointed in the wear time. No matter what base/top coat I use, when I do my nails Sunday afternoon they start to chip by Tuesday morning.

  6. That's always a bummer :( Have you tried switching up base and top coats with it? I wore Sailing the Hispaniola for 5 days before it started chipping on me. I used CND Stickey as a base and KBShimmer Clearly on Top as a top coat.

  11. Pahlish is one of my favorite brands - I have an entire drawer in one of my Melmers full, plus just as many sitting outside of the drawer, looking for a place to go. Shannon is the best! Somehow, I didn't pick up Squeaky Swings - what was I thinking?!?! I am going to have to make it my life's mission to get my hands on that one!! <3
