Cirque Summer 2015 Vice Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was alright. On one hand it was really beautiful weather here so I was able to get a ton of blog related stuff done that I wanted to. On the other hand I'm still having issues with my condo/AC. Heard that to fix it will cost $625 even with my home warranty (useless, don't ever buy one). I sure as heck don't have an extra $625 laying around so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I was thinking about possibly selling grab bags of polish to help pay for my AC getting fixed...is that something you guys might be interested in?

Anyway, today I have the Cirque Vice Collection for Summer 2015. This collection is made up of 5 vibrant creme polishes and a holographic topper. I really enjoy the collection, they are so great for Summer and I'm a big fan of Cirque cremes so that was nice too! These are available now, I'll have the link for where to pick them up at the end of the post. Click the read more button below to see all the swatches!

C.R.E.A.M. is pastel green neon. The formula was good, it was a touch thick in a good way that made application easy. There was some streakiness on the first coat but it was minor and completed covered by the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Lean is an ultra violet purple creme. This is my favorite of the collection, it is just such a vibrant and beautiful shade of purple...if you love purples this would be one you'd want to pick up. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had great opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat.

Miami-Dade is a light but bright blue. The formula was great, it was easy to work with and had great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Nympho is a bright neon pink. I like that it's a bit of a darker pink so its neon but its not eye searing. The formula was a bit thinner than I usually like but I found application to be easy and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Vitamin D is a neon peach creme. This was a pain for me to photograph so I'd recommend checking out a few swatches if you are on the fence about picking this polish up. It's much brighter than my photos depict (since mine are in the shade). The formula was good, it was a little bit thick in the good...easy to apply way. There was a bit of streakiness on the first coat but it was perfect after the second. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below. Both photos are in the shade.

We Trippy is a holographic topper. This looks great over pretty much any polish but from the Vice Collection I love it most over Lean. The formula was good, it has fantastic holo payoff in just 1 coat! I used 1 coat over Lean for the photos below.

The Cirque Vice Collection is available now at http://www.cirquecolors.com, each polish retails for $13. Cirque is also available on Amazon!

  1. Great swatches of them here! Love that holo top coat so much.

  2. Sorry about your AC/Home Warranty troubles, as you already know, I can definitely relate. Jerks. These polishes are gorgeous!

  3. Ah, the joys of homeownership. Given the number of issues you've had with it, you might consider getting some quotes for a new A/C unit and saving your money for that instead. I don't know for a condo, but home A/C units are only about twice the price of your repair quote. Maybe you could get a window unit to get you through the rest of the summer? I bet lots of people would be interested in grab bags from you. If you allowed a little choice eg. try to accommodate color or finish preferences, you could charge more and it would likely generate more interest.

The holo top coat doesn't look very greying, which is always a plus!

  4. This is such a pretty collection, I'm in love with Vitamin D!

  5. beautiful swatches..Lean is my fave! Sorry to hear about your AC issues in your condo..i couldn't live without it...i think selling grab bags or doing a blog sale would be a great idea..i'm sure u have a ton of beautiful polishes people wo9ud snap up! :)

  6. Omg love the idea of grab bags! And for a worthy cause... Poor you in that heat :/

  7. This is for a whole new unit inside the house, the condenser was already replaced in May. Most of the cost is being paid through the home warranty which is why my amount is $625...apparently they don't cover "modifications" :/

  8. Sorry about your AC:(
How would you say C.R.E.A.M compares to KBS for sail by owner and CG Grass is lime greener? They look quite similar...

  9. Sorry about your ac. Beautiful swatches. I think the grab bags is a great idea. :)

  10. Love the swatches! Sorry about your AC, though. I do want to say that grab bags would be a great idea -- I definitely wouldn't mind helping our your AC-fund and getting some awesome polishes in return! :)

  11. Also sorry to hear about your AC :/ I think the grab bags are a fabulous idea, especially if you're willing to ship to Europe :p

  12. I would be sooo interested. I have my eye on your Untz Untz Untzing Unicorn already ;)

  13. It would be US only, sorry! There are just too many rules and regulations with shipping polish internationally :(

  14. Sucks that you are having so many issues with your new home/AC. What a bummer!

These swatches are great-- I love these colors!
