OPI Coca-Cola Duo Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! Anyone have fun plans for the weekend?  I'm planning on doing some crafting. I've been getting into planning lately and figured out how to make stickers on my Silhouette so I'm like all about that life now haha! I'm finding that planning and makes to-do lists is really helping me actually get stuff done! Anyone else planner addicted? Seems like its becoming quite the trend, I'm surprised it took me so long to give it a go. Had I been planning when I bought my condo I feel like everything would have been so much easier!

Today I have a new duo from OPI and Coca-Cola to share with you. This duo is a new addition to the Coca-Cola Collection and it was made to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the the classic green glass Coca-Cola bottle. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Centennial Celebration is a metallic silver shimmer. I like this but I feel like I have so many silver foils that its one that most people can pass on. The formula was ok, it was sheer on the first coat but opaque with the second coat.

Visions of Georgia Green is a green duochrome. This flashes between green and silver with a pink of a pink shimmer. Now, you guys now that I love green...however this just doesn't really appeal to me. Its a bit too frosty and muddled for me. I feel like this could be better layered over another polish but I haven't had a chance to try it that way yet. The formula was ok, it was a good consistency but sheer. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Overall I like the idea of these but I feel like OPI could have designed better polishes to celebrate the Coca-Cola bottle. Personally these are a pass for me but I'm sure there are a lot of you guys that would love these! This new installment to the Coca-Cola Collection by OPI is available now, OPI retails for $9.50 each.

  1. I like how shiny they are! Beautiful swatches

  2. I really want to love that green... but I don't. I almost wish they had done a millionth red instead

  3. Very pretty swatches as always :)

  4. Ooh both are so pretty but Centennial Celebration is such a stunner! <3 xx
