Zoya Fall 2015 Flair Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the shimmer half of Zoya's Fall 2015 offerings. This collection is called Flair and its made up of 6 shimmer. Most of these go really nicely with the cremes from the Focus Collection, I think it would be fun to mix and match them with accent nails! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Aggie is a rich gold with a touch of a green shift. I'm not normally a gold girl but I love this one! It was more shifty in the bottle than on the nail but it does have the green on the nail at some angles. The formula was good, it was sheer but buildable. If you have shorter nails you could probably get away with 2 coats, since I have a bit of free edge right now I needed 3 coats.

Shade
Cinnamon is a bronzy-y brown with a golden bronze shimmer. This is another favorite, it is just Fall perfection in my opinion! The formula was really nice, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Ember is a red with golden shimmer.  This had some brush strokes at first but they dried down and pretty much disappeared which was nice. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Estelle is a blue shimmer. This looks a little foil-ish in the photos but in person it looks more like a straight shimmer. The formula was good, it was easy to work with and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Remember the other day when I saw I found a dupe of OPI St. Marks The Spot? Well, its Estelle! I can't tell the difference between these two on the nail. The formulas were very similar, so I'd just grab whichever is easiest for you if you want this shade of blue.

Shade

Giada is a deep purple with a subtle pink shimmer. This does tend to look a bit black in your aren't in the sun or in bright indoor lighting. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Tris is a grey shimmer. This one doesn't look very good on my skin tone but I'm sure there are a bunch of you out there who will look fantastic in this kind of color! The formula was good, it was a bit sheer on the first coat but it was very easy to build up. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Zoya is available at http://www.zoya.com, each polish retails for $9

  2. Great swatches as always. I actually just ordered Cinnamon yesterday to take advantage of the Satin Trio offer. I didn't know it was new but I think it's my favorite from this collection. Can't wait to try it!

  3. Lovely collection. I'm on the look for new information after having had acrylics for quite some time. Very nice getting into "normal" polishes again :-)
