China Glaze Halloween 2015 Ghouls Night Out Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have swatches of the Ghouls Night Out Collection from China Glaze for you! I shared some nail art and had a giveaway last week. Big thank you to everyone who checked out that post and entered the giveaway, I've already heard back from all the winners! The Ghouls Night Out Collection is made up of 6 polishes this year, 3 cremes and 3 glitters. Check out the swatches after the jump!

Cackle If You Want To is purple and black matte glitter in a clear base. The purple glitter is a little different in this, it looks like its striped...not sure if thats how its supposed to be or what but thought I'd mention it. The formula was ok, it was a bit base heavy so you will need to dab this one on and place the glitter where you want it. I used 1 coat over Lady and the Vamp for the photos below.

Drink up Witches is a neon green. This was freaking out my camera a bit, sorry about that! The formula was pretty good for a neon, it was a little patchy and sheer at first but it was easy to build. This dried down a little matte but not totally matte. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below. You may need 3 coats of this but it was literally SO bright that any nail line that was peeking through I couldn't see.

Ghostess With The Mostess is black, purple and peach-y orange glitter in a clear base. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter coverage was really nice. I used 1 coat over Drink up Witches for the photos below.

Lady And The Vamp is a neon orange creme. The formula was ok, it was a little sheer and patchy but it built up to full opacity easily. It also dries down a little bit matte. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Looking Bootiful is a purple jelly. I really like this shade of purple and since its a jelly it'll probably be great for glitter sandwiches! The formula was ok, it is sheer since its a jelly...it was also a little uneven but easy to build up and even out. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Something's Brewing is light green and black glitter in a clear base. The formula was good, it was packed with glitter and really easy to apply with good glitter payoff. I used 1 coat over Looking Bootiful for the photos below.

The China Glaze Ghouls Night Out Collection is available now, price varies depending on where you buy. I like this collection because while it feels Halloween you could really wear all of these anytime.

  2. so colorful and bright collection for Halloween)
in this case, it reminds me of a children's halloween's party :)))

  3. Some great Halloween colors. I really like the glitters in this collection.
