Fair Maiden Polish Fall 2015 Swords & Lace: A Renaissance Fantasy Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Fall 2015 Collection from Fair Maiden Polish to share with you. The name of the collection is Swords & Lace: A Renaissance Fantasy. This 8 pieces collection has a little something for everyone, shimmers, holos and glitters! Check out all the swatches after the jump.

Belly Dancer is a glitter topper with green, blue, gold, pink, red and purple glitter. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Masquerade for the photos below. Both photos are in the shade.

Crystal Ball is a topper with iridescent flakes of glitter and a strong gold shimmer. These types of flakies can be a little difficult to manipulate since they can occasionally be very large. However, I had no issues when I applied this, its just something to be aware of. The formula was a touch thick but easy to control and it had great glitter/shimmer payoff. I used 1 coat over High Priestess for the photos below. Both photos are in the shade.

High Priestess is a red creme with subtle orange/pink shimmer.  The shimmer is a bit hidden depending on the lighting but out in the sun its pretty easily visible. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Just A Mirage is a burgundy holo. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Masquerade is an aqua blue with blue/green shimmer. The formula was on the thick side but I found it easy to control and the opacity was fantastic. I used 1 coat for the photos below.

Pirate Queen is a magenta holo. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Snake Charmer is a faded blue toned green holo. The holo is a bit stronger in person than it appears in photos. The formula was good, easy to work with and it had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Archeress is a gold holo. This is the stunner of the collection, it is SO holo! The formula was good, it was a really smooth consistency and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Swords & Lace: A Renaissance Fantasy Collection is available now at Color4Nails.com and FairMaidenPolish.com. Prices range from $9 to $11.
