Whimsical Ideas by Pam Hallowhimsy 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Hallowhimsy Collection from Whimsical Ideas by Pam to share with you! I was pretty excited about these when I got them in the mail, the first polish I unwrapped was a creme which is something Pam has never done before! In addition to the wonderful creme in this collection there are also some great glitters and a really pretty shimmer! Check out all the swatches after the jump.

All Together Kooky is green and purple glitter in a clear base. Depending on what you layer this over the green glitter can tend to look more yellow but its more obviously green in real life. I of course, love all the circle glitters going on in this polish plus the name is awesome. The formula was good, I found it best to dab this on to distribute the glitter. I used All Together Kooky over Pretty Serious Cuddle Bunny for the photos below.

Bluetiful is a dusty blue jelly with red glitter. I really like this, if you like Big River from Pam this is right up your alley...its a similar feel. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and built to opacity easily. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Caramellow is a caramel colored creme. I love this one! I've been waiting for Pam to do a creme so when I saw this I was like YES! The color is unique and a perfect match to caramel candies I ate when I was a kid! The formula was good, it was a touch streaky on the first coat but it evens out easily and is opaque in 2 coats.

Elphaba is a black jelly base with green flakes of shimmer. I really like how the base is so dark but the green stands out and it doesn't really look black. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade
Fantasia is purple shreds of glitter in a clear base. This is my favorite glitter of the collection, I really like these types of shredded glitters. I'm actually still wearing this combo, its going on strong with no chips and I'm on day 4 of wearing it. The formula was good, the glitter distributes easily and no dabbing is needed. I used 1 coat over   Pretty Serious Pookie for the photos below.

Penny For Your Thoughts is orangey/copper and orange holographic glitter in a clear base. This is another glitter than can look different depending on what you layer it over. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Caramellow for the photos below.

Screams Halloween is black, purple, orange and green glitter in a clear base. This one really does scream Halloween, it has all the colors I  usually associate with Halloween in it. The formula was good, I found it best to apply 1 coat normally then go back and dab in more glitter where I needed it. I used Screams Halloween over Emily De Molly Copper Patina for the photos below.

Apologies for only 1 photo of this one, when I was outside taking photos of this one a bee got all up in my face and being the big chicken I am I ran screaming. While acting like a big adult I hit and smudged my middle finger nail...which you can see a bit in the photo lol

  2. I haven't purchased from Pam in such a long time. I think you may have convinced me to purchase again (you introduced me to this brand years ago). Caramellow and Penny for your Thoughts are calling my name!
