Nine Zero Thanksgiving & Holiday Collections Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a big old post for ya...3 collections in 1! I have the Thanksgiving Trio, Sparkle All The Things Duo and Holiday 2015 Collections from Nine Zero to share with you! Originally I was going to split these into separate posts but I decided to put them all together so you guys would be able to see them before they launch on Friday. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

First up is the Thanksgiving Trio which is made up of 2 glitters and a holo!

Cranberry Sauced is a cranberry red jelly base with gold holographic micro glitter. The formula was good, it was a touch sheer on the first coat but opaque with the second. It does try with some texture so you may need 2 coats of top coat to get it completely smooth. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Stuffed gold holographic micro glitter accented with orange, red, bonze and magenta glitter. This is my favorite of the trio, its just a really pretty mix and I really like the way the bronze glitter pops. The formula was good, it was a little on the thick side due to how dense the glitter it but I had no issues with application and the glitter payoff was great. You could probably get away with using this as a topper if you did a really thin coat but I like it on its own. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Turkey Coma is a copper holo. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. It did have some brush strokes when I was applying it but they all dried down and smoothed out which was nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Next up is the Sparkle All The Things Duo. These 2 polishes are holographic micro glitter toppers. These are in the same vein as China Glaze Fairy Dust but the glitter is a little bit smaller. These are much more sparkly in person, photos just don't do much to show how great these 2 are.

Sparkle All The Things is a silver holographic micro glitter. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good glitter payoff. I used 1 coat over Pretty Serious Absence for the photos below.

Shade

Sparkle All The Things (Gold) is a gold holographic micro glitter. This was also easy to apply and had a nice consistency and good glitter payoff. You can't really tell in photos how good the payoff was because like I mentioned the sparkle just doesn't translate well in photos. I used 1 coat over Indigo Bananas Scarlet Night for the photos below.

Shade

Last up is the Holiday Collection for 2015. This collection is made up of 6 glitters ranging from tiny micro glitters in a jelly base to a glitter topper.

A Peculiar Star is a blue jelly base with navy blue glitter. This is my favorite of the Holiday collection...something about how the glitter looks in the shade of blue jelly base gives it a ton of depth. If you like blues you won't regret getting this one! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and was opaque in 2 coats. It did dry down with some texture so you may need 2 coats of top coat to smooth it own. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Cat In The Christmas Tree is a green jelly base with gold holographic super micro glitter. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat and opaque with 2 coats. For some reason you can see a little of my nail line in my photos but I couldn't see it in person. This dried down a little dull and top coat makes it come alive. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Santa Suit is a red jelly base with very tiny gold holographic micro glitter. The glitter is teeny tiny...I actually thought it was just shimmer at first. The formula was good, it was sheer on the first coat but built easily and was opaque in 2 coats. It did dry down a little dull so top coat really brings it to life. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Star On Top is a gold holographic micro glitter. If you liked Stuffed from the Thanksgiving trio but don't want all the extra colors of glitter this is the polish for you. The formula was a little thick but easy to apply. It was sheer on the first coat but it built fairly easily and was opaque in 3 coats. You could probably use this one as a topper with 1 coat. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Stocking Stuffer is a glitter topper with iridescent, matte white, red, green, gold and silver glitter in a clear base. This is nice and dense with glitter, it can be a little thick but I found it easy to apply and you get great glitter payoff. I used 1 coat over Pretty Serious Absence for the photos below.

Shade

Twinkle Lights is a silver linear holo with a rainbow of semi-transparent glitters. This was my 2nd favorite of the Holiday collection, its unique to my collection and really does remind me of twinkling Christmas lights! The formula was good, it was sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for full opacity but you could probably get away with 2 coats depending on how you apply it.

The Thanksgiving Trio, Sparkle All The Things Duo and Holiday Collections will all be available this Friday, November 13th at 11am EST. You can find Nine Zero at http://www.ninezerolacquer.com
