Creme a la Mode Box #2 Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the 2nd Creme a la Mode box to share with you. This box is a collaboration between Indigo Bananas, Literary Lacquer, Digital Nails and Octopus Party Nail Lacquer. What makes this box different than other collab boxes is that all of the polishes in it are creme finishes! The theme of this box is a bit of a twist on the normal holiday types of shades. This box will be available for pre-order starting on 11/15 and ending on 11/21, I'll have links and the pricing info at the end of the post! Check out all the swatches after the jump.

Digital Nails Arboreal is a dusty teal leaning green creme. The formula was really nice on this one, it was a great consistency and applied smoothly with nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below. I did not have staining with this either.

Indigo Bananas Scarlet Night is a scarlet red creme. This has a nice squishy look to it which I enjoy. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with the second. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Literary Lacquer Breathing Dreams Like Air is a dusty grey/lavender. I always love these types of colors, they look good on most skin tones and are just super flattering on. The formula was good, it was a little thick in a good way that made it easy to apply. The opacity was fantastic, pretty much a 1 coater, though I did use 2 for my swatches to see if it deepened the color (it didn't).

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Malibu Stacy's Mom is a bright, nearly neon, pink creme. This is brighter in person than it looks in photos. The formula was good, it was a little on the thick side but I had no issues with application. The first coat went on a bit patchy but the second coat evened it all out. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The Creme a la Mode Box will be available for Pre-Order 11/15-11/21 at, it retails for $26 plus shipping and handling. It works out to be a pretty good deal at $6.50 per polish before shipping charges. Once all the boxes are shipped each polish will be available from the respective maker in their shop for their normal price, which is nice if maybe there is only 1 or 2 that catches your eye out of the 4!
