Emily de Molly New Shades at Color4Nails Swatches & Review

Hi guys, hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was good, did a bunch of Christmas decorating around my place. I like to decorate early, no shame here haha! I'm excited to decorate this year, its my first real Christmas in my place since I bought it last year. I owned my condo last Christmas but everything was such a mess that I didn't actually live here until months later.

Anyway...today I have 6 Emily de Molly polishes to share with you. All 6 of these are now available over at Color4Nails! Check out the swatches after the jump.

Future Royal? is a nearly neon purple jelly filled with multicolored flakies. I really love the finish and color of this one but I unfortunately didn't really love the formula. I found it hard to control unless I had barely any polish on the brush. I used 3 coats for full opacity due to the thin coats, otherwise it would have been a 2 coater. This does dry down matte, I used top coat for my photos.

Modern Luster is a bright pink jelly filled with coppery gold shimmer. The shimmer in this one was much more apparent in person...because the pink is so bright its hard to capture on camera. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

New Life is a medium green holo, this does lean a little blue out in the sun but in the shade and lower lighting it appears more green. The formula was nice, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Perfect Oasis is a bright blue holo. The formula was good, like New Life it had a nice consistency and good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Reflection is a turquoise base with a subtle holo. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Glaring is a dark blue jelly filled with silver glitter and a strong green shimmer. I love this polish...it kind of reminds me of Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe. They are not dupes, not even close, but it gives the same kind of feel. I loved this in the bottle because of the shimmer and was really happy to see how great it translated onto the nail. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

All 6 of these polishes are available over at Color4Nails.com, prices for Emily de Molly range from $11-$13.

  2. This brand always has the prettiest blue glitters and blue jellies/glitters/shimmers which, of course, is my major weakness. I have a ridiculous amount of blues already but dang, The Glaring is a beauty! *grabby hands*

  3. OOF, gorgeous swatches as always, and i'm very much needing Glaring. it reminds me a whole lot of a Digital Nails polish that i wasn't able to snag in the recent elevation charity auctions.
