2015 Most Viewed Mainstream and Indie Posts

Hi guys! Happy last day of 2015, crazy how quick this year went! For me 2015 was the year I really grew up. It was the best and worst year for me personally. My home pretty much went to hell with everything breaking which was such a frustrating and difficult thing to deal with. On the upside I learned how to get shit done and everything is fixed now and Degen and I are enjoying having our own space. At times it made me put swatching and blog related things on the back burner but everything has turned out for the best now! I'm looking forward to everything that 2016 brings me!

I thought it would be fun to show you guys my top 5 most viewed posts for 2015 both for indie and niche brand and mainstream brands. I always think its interesting to see what gets the most views. It helps me figure out what I should post most or less.

Please let me know in the comments what you'd like to see more or less of in 2016 here at The PolishAholic. Maybe there is an indie brand I've never reviewed that you think I'd love, maybe you'd like to see more nail art since I rarely blog the nail art I do...whatever it is I'd love to know!

Check out the most popular posts of 2015 after the jump, also if you missed any of the posts on these lists you can re-visit them by clicking the name of the collection!

Mainstream Top 5 - not surprisingly OPI dominated here (they usually do!), Had this been a top 10 you'd also see some Zoya and Essie sprinkled in there...they just barely missed the top 5!

5. OPI 50 Shades of Grey Collection, I can see why this was in the top 5. I still haven't read the book or seen the movie but I do enjoy the mostly monotone nature of this collection. I love a good grey polish and this collection had some good ones!

4.. OPI 2015 Brights Collection, This was one of my favorites from OPI this year also. The pink glitter in this collection really got me. The bottle shot for this glitter was also one of my most liked Instagram photos this year!

3. China Glaze Spring 2015 Road Trip Collection. The only throw a wrench into OPI's domination this year was this gorgeous collection from China Glaze! Initially I was a little disappointed by this collection because the shimmers were so hidden but looking back on it now I kinda love how delicate most of these were.

2. OPI Fall 2015 Venice Collection, I thought for sure this would be the number 1 OPI post this year...and it almost was! Sure the collection doesn't look or feel very fall but there were some stunners in the collection!

1. OPI Spring 2015 Hawaii Collection,  the collection that started out OPI's love of glitters in frosty metallic bases for 2015. Aside from that this collection was gorgeous. It features what OPI is best at, in my opinion, classic cremes!

Indie Top 5- When I sat down to make this list I was most excited to see what indies were getting viewed the most. It was fun to see if you guys were liking what I was liking (and you were!). The top 10 was very diverse featuring brands like Whimsical Ideas by Pam, Delush Polish, Glam Polish and Sunny's Body Products. Those 4 just barely missed out on the top 5 list by under 1000 page views!

5. Cirque x Nordstrom Pop In Collection, Cirque did a few collaborations with Nordstrom this year. As a fan of indies for years and a fan of Cirque I thought this was so exciting for them and the community. Being featured somewhere like Nordstrom is a big deal and I hope to see them do more together in 2016!

4. KBShimmer Summer 2015 Collection Pt. 3, I was happy to see this post in the top 5 because I really loved these polishes. Multichrome flakies are probably my favorite new thing of 2015!

3. ILNP Ultrachrome Flakies Part 1, more multichrome flakies!! Fun fact- part 2 of this collection was in the top 10 indie posts this year!

2. ILNP Spring 2015 (The Holos) Collection, ILNP makes some stunning holos (some of my favorites) so its not surprising to see the holo part of their Spring collection for 2015 also in the top 5 posts. I can't stop staring at the collage photo.

1. ILNP Summer Ultra Holos, You guys really loved ILNP this year (so did I)! This post was number 1 by a ton of page views and you can see why in the collage below!

Hope everyone has a wonderful New Years Eve!

These collections were my favorites for the year for sure! Spring & Summer releases are the most exciting to me because they usually have the most fun & unique shades. :)
