Pretty Serious Pet Names Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Pet Names Collection from Pretty Serious to share with you. This collection has 6 really nice staple polishes. They are all great on their own but would also be great bases for nail art or glitter.  Check out the swatches after the jump.

Cuddle Bunny is a lavender with a slight silver shimmer. The formula was great it was easy to apply and had a great consistency with really nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Honey Puff is a bright sunny yellow creme. The formula was good for a yellow, it had a really nice consistency and only minor streakiness on the first coat. i used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Pookie is a bright turquoise blue creme. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Snugglebutt is a vivid purple creme. The formula was ok, it was a touch on the thin side for what I like and a little hard to control but overall I didn't have that much of a problem with it. This did dry down a little bit dull so you'll want top coat to bring it to life. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Stud Muffin is a red creme. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had really nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Sugar Cakes is a bright pink creme. This is really bright, verging on neon but not quite there. The formula was great, it was a nice consistency and had really good opacity. Because its almost neon it does dry down a little dull. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Pretty Serious is available at http://www.pretty-serious.com, the Pet Names Collection retails for $9.95 AUD.

  2. Really nice colors and a fun change from all the dark colors I've been seeing a lot.

  3. So here is a general question. I actually need a bunch of colorful creams in my collection but o can't decide which company to go with. Not taking forever to dry is my main criteria. What would you, the expert, recommend?

  4. I really enjoy these along with cremes from KBShimmer. Painted Polish just recently started making cremes also and they are fantastic!

  5. That's really helpful, thank you. I had bookmarked her site previously anyway so it's good to hear affirmation the formulas are as nice as they look.
