Serum No. 5 FW15 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection from Serum No. 5 to share with you! This collection features a few holographic glow in the dark polishes which I think its pretty awesome, its something I've never had in my collection before! There are also a couple regular glitters and shimmers to round out the whole collection. Check out the swatches after the jump!

Before I get into the swatches just a note about the holographic glow in the dark polishes. They all dry matte and with a little bit of texture, this is due to the glow pigment. They all actually look pretty awesome matte but really come to life with top coat. I found that I needed a couple coats of top coat with them to really smooth everything out.

Are You Fir Real? is a deep dusty green with a scattered holo that glows aqua blue in the dark. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Black Rainbow is a black scattered holo that glows green in the dark. The formula was good, easy to apply and with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Brains over Bronze is a dark bronze scattered holo that glows green in the dark. This is my personal favorite of the collection, its great in regular light, out in the sun and in the dark! The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Call Me Navy is a deep shimmery navy blue with gold holographic glitter. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Fangs for the Memories is a black jelly base with gold, red and holographic glitter. There may be a couple other colors in there but its hard to tell. The formula was good, it was sheer on the first coat but complete opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Shade

I Sea You is a glitter topper packed with white, blue, pink, green and holographic glitter in a clear base. This is super dense so you may be able to wear it on its own, but I haven't tried it that way. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had fantastic glitter payoff. I used 1 coat over Black Rainbow for the photos below.

Shade

I'm Kind of A Big Teal is a dusty blue scattered holo that glows aqua blue in the dark. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Iris In Peace is a purple scattered holo that glows dark indigo in the dark. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to work with. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Ladies and Magenta-Men is a bright pink shimmer with iridescent flakies and a blue flash of shimmer. This one isn't my favorite out in the sun, just don't love the finish...but I really enjoy it in the shade when the flakies and shimmer come out a bit more. The formula was good, it was sheer but it built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Shade

Light- Hearted is a light pinky beige nude scattered holo that glows green in the dark. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Sprinkles & Cream is a white crelly with dark blue, aqua blue, yellow, green and red glitter. The formula was good, it was sheer but buildable. Depending on how you apply it you'll need 2-3 coats. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Shade

Wine & Whine is a dark maroon scattered holo that glows green in the dark. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.
