piCture pOlish LakoDom Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have one of the new-ish collaboration shades from piCture pOlish to share with you. This shade is called LakoDom and it's a collaboration with Polina Koroleva from Lakodom, the Russian stockist for piCture pOlish.

LakoDom is a grey toned white with a subtle holographic shimmer and subtle silver bits of shimmer. The overall look is really gorgeous, the shimmer is very subdued but it gives the polish a nice bit of sparkle. It's a really nice neutral with a pop! The formula was good, it was a touch streaky at first but evened out nicely, I used 3 coats for full opacity.

piCture pOlish is available at http://picturepolish.com.au, they work with etailers from all over the world, a full list can be found here: http://picturepolish.com.au/network

Zoya Naturel Satins Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Naturel Satins Collection from Zoya to share with you! This collection is a transitional collection that is meant to ease you from Winter shades to Spring shades. The collection has a really gorgeous neutral palette that I'm a big fan of. These are what Zoya calls a Satin finish, they dry down to a finish between glossy and completely matte, what Zoya calls "Low-Sheen". I was hoping they would be like the MatteVelvet polishes since they are some of my favorites, unfortunately they aren't but if you enjoy semi-matte polishes you might like these. Check out all the swatches after the jump.

KBShimmer Men Are From Mars-ala Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a quick post for ya of a gorgeous new KBShimmer polish called Men Are From Mars-ala. This polish is in celebration of the Pantone 2015 Color of the Year, Marsala! When Marsala was announced as the color for 2015 I wasn't very excited about it but man, if this is the kind of polishes we'll get from it I'm a fan.

Men Are From Mars-ala is a brown toned red holo. The holo is nice and strong outside, stronger than it looks in photos and even when I was at work under my crappy office lighting I could see some of the holo! The formula was really nice, it was easy to apply and had nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

KBShimmer is available at KBShimmer.com, Men Are From Mars-ala retails for $8.75. For international buyers you can find KBShimmer at Harlow & Co

2014 Favorite Brand: Sunny's Body Products!

Hi guys! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm a day late but that's alright, right? Today I am moving, finally! It took what like 6 or 7 weeks since I closed escrow on my house but I'm finally moving in now that all my plumbing and mold issues are taken care of! I was hoping to be in before 2014 was finished but it didn't work out so I'm happy to be starting 2015 in my own home. I feel so adult-ish now with my mortgage and responsibilities lol!

Today I wanted to shine a spotlight on my overall favorite brand of 2014 and its not actually a nail polish brand...technically. It's Sunny's Body Products! Sunny used to make polish (365 Days of Color) but I never got a chance to try it before she decided to exclusively focus on hand and body care and drop the polish line.

I found out about Sunny during a #NailGlossip chat and my cuticles and hands have never smelled and felt better because of it! Sunny makes a variety of products ranging from cuticle balm to lip balm and they are available in hundreds of scents. I've become quite the collector of Sunny's products, they have totally replaced everything I was using on my hands prior to 2014 and her lip balms have even replaced my beloved Chapstick!

Below are a few of my favorite products from Sunny, since I don't have photos of each of them in the scents I love I've listed the scents I've tried and enjoyed for them! I'd love to hear about the scents you love of hers if you've tried anything out from her brand also!

Easily my favorite product from Sunny is her Miracle Balm. I've always been a cuticle balm kinda girl as opposed to a cuticle oil girl (but thanks to Sunny I know love oil also lol)! My absolute favorite scent for the Miracle Balm is Hillbilly Home Brew. I got the scent as a sample size and have almost completely finished it up! Hillbilly Home Brew smells like the holidays, thats the only way I can think of to describe it. It's spicy and so yummy smelling! Another favorite scent in the balm is Hazelnut Cappuccino, I like to put it on to wake me up in the morning because it smells exactly how you'd think it would based on the name!  Another scent I've almost gone through in the Miracle Balm is Hawaiian Lei, it's such a perfect summery scent!

The newest product Sunny has come out with is her All Over Body Balm. I loved Frozen (pictured below) from the Christmas box and recently picked up a couple full sized tubes in other scents! It's very similar in consistency to the miracle balm, just in a more travel friendly container. I like to keep this in my purse! My current favorite scent for the body balm is one I just recently ordered: Cinnamon Glaze Baklava. It is like the most yummy bakery scent, everyone at work who smelled it was like OMG haha!

Another favorite product from Sunny is her Lip Saver! These have completely replaced Chapstick for me. I'm totally one of those people who always has lip balm everywhere so I have quite a few of these. My favorite flavors are Tequila Sunrise (pictured below), Cinnamon Buns and  Pumpkin Pecan! I've almost completely gone through my tube of Tequila Sunrise!

Onto Cuticle Oil, I was never a big fan of oils until I discovered Sunny's brand and was able to get them in like a billion delicious scents.  Some of my favorite oil scents are Autumn Harvest (pictured below), Hot Chocolate, Monkey Farts (which is also now in lip balm form and its awesome!) and Twilight Woods! The big reason I love these cuticle oils is because they are in a roll on container. It makes them easy to carry around in my purse and quickly apply. They sink in nicely and the scent lingers really well for hours!

Last up are Sunny's Hang Sugar Scrubs. These are the only products of Sunny's that I've managed to use up, I've gone through 3 or 4 different scents so far! I like to use these with a nice lotion to really make my hands soft! My favorite scents are Donut Shop (loved it so much I ordered it in the Body Balm also!), Hippy Christmas and Tricks and Treats from the Halloween Box!

You can find Sunny's Body Products at http://www.365daysofcolorpolishes.com/, her products are super affordable. I'd highly recommend trying out her samplers if there are a few scents you're interested in. The sizes are very generous and the price is great. If you already know you love her stuff and haven't tried out any of her Seasonal Boxes yet I'd recommend them also when they come out, last I looked the Christmas box was still available and its awesome!
