ILNP Spring 2015 Collection: The Holos Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! Anyone have fun plans this weekend? I'm planning on doing more home stuff, on my list this weekend is recovering my headboard, hanging a shelving unit and putting up some decals on the wall behind my couch!

Today I have the first part of I Love Nail Polish's huge Spring 2015 Collection to share with you! In its entirety their Spring 2015 Collection is made up of holos, Ultra Chromes, Ultra Chrome Flakies and Holographic Ultra Chrome Flakies. I decided it would be easier to split up the different types of polishes so it wasn't a post with like 100 pictures haha! Today I have the 7 holos from the collection for you to feast your eyes on! Check them all out after the jump!

OPI 2015 Soft Shades Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the 2015 Soft Shades Collection from OPI to share with you. I don't think there is any specific theme with these like there has been the last couple of years, at least that I know of! The collection this year contains 2 sheer cremes, 1 shimmer, 2 glitters and a frost. Normally I'm not a big fan of sheers like this but these are just doing it for me right now...maybe its because I've been wearing a lot of bright polishes lately...I dunno. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Serum No. 5 April 2015 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have April 2015 from Serum No. 5 to share with you. This is the next in Serum's one and done polishes and it will be available starting on April 1st! April 2015 is a glitter topper loaded with pink, purple periwinkle and fuchsia glitter in a shimmery base, it also glows bright blue in the dark!

The formula was good, it was nice and glitter dense and easy to apply. I used 1 coat over black for the photos below.

Pretty Serious Naileontology Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was good, I got a ton of house stuff done which was nice! Today I have the Naileontology Collection from Pretty Serious to share with you! The 3 polishes I have today are the first in a series of polishes in this collection. This collection is all about Kaz (owner of Pretty Serious) reimagining her favorite vintage polishes as Pretty Serious shades. I was pretty excited about that because I fully blame Kaz for making me want a lot of no longer made polishes so this is probably as close as I'll ever get to owning a bunch of them haha! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Degen's March 2015 BarkBox

Hi guys! Today I have the March 2015 BarkBox to share with you! It's been quite a while since I've shared one of these on here, usually I forget or Degen manages to get to the box before I can photograph it haha!

For those who don't know what BarkBox is let me explain...it's pretty much like Birchbox but for dogs. Every month it shows up with an assortment of treats and toys, occasionally there are grooming things in there also. They have different plans that range in price and are customized to the size of your dog, last time I looked there were 4 different size options available...I believe Degen gets the Medium box for those wondering. A portion of the cost of the box also goes to animal shelters which I really love. I've been getting BarkBox for Degen for about 2 years now and overall have liked what he's gotten...sometimes there are off months but other months are awesome and make up for it.

The March box has a movie night theme, check out everything Degen got after the jump!

piCture pOlish Never Nude Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was good. I spent my weekend painting my patio furniture and doing some art for my walls. I felt like I was living in Pinterest or something haha! Today I have Never Nude from piCture pOlish to share with you. This polish is a collaboration with Meghan of Will Paint Nails For Food.

The base color of the polish is a nice creamy beige-nude, it has a nice purple shimmer and blue and blue glitter. The formula was good but on the sheer side. It did build up to opacity fairly easily though which was good! I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Serum No 5 Made You Look; April 2015 A Box Indied Swatch & Review

Hi guys, hope you had a nice weekend! Mine was good, we had really gorgeous weather here this weekend which was nice since it had been raining the previous couple of weekends. Today I have the Serum No. 5 contribution to the April 2015 A Box Indied. The polish is called Made You Look and on its own its a silverly white shimmer with a subtle holo that glows a really bright aqua in the dark. This is meant to be worn as a topper but fail me, I didn't realize that until typing up this post haha! Good news, its pretty on its own and can easily be worn that way! When layered this has a blue/green duochrome to it, I'm sure it'll be swatched that way on other blogs so if you're looking to see what it looks like layered keep your eyes open the next couple days!

The formula of Made You Look when worn on its own is good, it starts out sheer but it builds to opacity fairly easily. I could still see some nail line after 3 coats but it was faint and not very noticeable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

A Box Indied is available exclusively from Llarowe.com, check out the Llarowe Facebook page for updates about availability!

A England The Blessed Damozel Swatch & Review

Happy Friday! Today is a pretty good Friday, it's Degen's birthday! He turns 11 today, though you'd never know it since he still acts like a young whippersnapper haha! After work I'm planning on going to a dog bakery near me and picking him up one of their doggy cupcakes as a fun treat.

Today I have a new A England shade called The Blessed Damozel to share with you. This is a blackened purple base with a purple metallic shimmer. The formula as usual with A England was fantastic, it was a great consistency and it applied beautifully. This is pretty easily a 1 coater, I used 2 coats just to deepen the shimmer a little but it didn't end up making a difference so I don't think you'd need the second coat.

A England is available at http://www.a-england.co.uk, it is available at tons of etailers as well. You can find a full list here: http://www.a-england.co.uk/where-to-buy/

piCture pOlish Cyan Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, this was meant to go up then but the scheduled post didn't work for whatever reason :(

Today I have piCture pOlish Cyan to share with you! This is one of the recent-ish collaboration shades made with Marta of Chit Chat Nails. Cyan is a bright cyan blue with a scattered holographic shimmer, the holo is reading silver in photos, the rainbow is more apparent in person. The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Serum No. 5 March 2015 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was good! I finally moved into my place woohoo! Today I have March 2015 from Serum No. 5 to share with you. This is only available for the month of March and is a one and done polish so once its gone its gone for good.

March 2015 is all kinds of St. Patricks Day appropriate, it has a light green crelly base and is loaded with a few shades of green glitter along with bits of white glitter. This glows a really intense blue/green. The formula was good, it was sheer at first but builds easily and is opaque in 3 coats.

March 2015 retails for $13 and is available at SerumNo5.com
