Essie Summer 2015 Peach Side Babe Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have one of Essie's Summer 2015 Collection. This year they came out with a normal collection and a new "neon" collection. Out of the 2 I decided the normal one, called Peach Side Babe was more my speed. I love neons but the neon collection just didn't do anything for me when I saw them at Target. The Peace Side Babe Collection has a nice variety in shades from light almost pastel shades to bolder corals and blues. I like that its different from a lot of what we've seen for Summer. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Girly Bits Ermahgerd Flerkers Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Today I have a polish from Girly Bits called Ermahgerd Flerkers to share with you. This polish is the name sake of the Ermahgerd Flerkers Collection which is made up of 12 flakie toppers!

Ermahgerd Flerkers is multicolored flakies in a clear base. This will look great over pretty much anything, I always like these over nude polishes, its subtle but so pretty that way! The formula was good, it is a touch thick but in a way that picks up a lot of flakies and gives you great payoff. I used 1 coat over JulieG Sour Grape for the photos below. Both photos are in the shade.

Girly Bits is available at http://www.girlybitscosmetics.com, you can also find them at a variety of retailers all over the world, for a list of retailers click here

Painted Polish At Sea Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the At Sea Collection from Painted Polish to share with you! This is my first experience with Painted Polish but they've been on my need to try list for ages! Do you guys have a list of indies to try out, or am I just weird? I'm slowly but surely getting through that list, but I swear I add like 1 or 2 new ones to the list every week haha!

Painted Polish is known for her awesome glitters. Lexi makes all kinds of full coverage micro glitters. I like them because they are versatile, you can build them up to being opaque but with a light hand you could also wear them as glitter toppers. The At Sea Collection is a 4 piece collection that it made up of blues, greens and teals! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Pahlish Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes from Pahlish to share with you! Pahlish is a brand that I've been meaning to try for ages and I just finally got around to picking up a few a couple months ago when she had a polish in her Bespoke batch that I needed in my life.  I ended up getting a couple Bespoke polishes along with one that was in a current collection and a mystery polish! Unfortunately I don't think any of these are available anymore. I'm not too familiar with how Pahlish operates but it seems like things come and go pretty quickly so its a get em while you can kind of situation. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Colour Prevails Reality Star Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a polish from a new to me brand called Colour Prevails, this brand is in the drugstores so its nice and accessible. I've been meaning to try out this brand but it's been a long time since I've been to a Wagreens so I just finally grabbed a bottle when I went by to get something else a few days ago. What drew me to trying this brand out was the interesting butterfly wing handle which you can see a photo of at the end of the post. The handle makes it so that you have really nice control over the brush and how you are applying the polish.

The shade I bought is called Realty Star and its a dusty cobalt blue creme. There wasn't a huge variety of shades at the Walgreens I went to so this was the only one that really struck my fancy. The formula was great, it was very easy to apply and had good opacity. I really enjoyed the handle and how it fit in my hand to apply the polish. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Apologies for not holding the bottle in the swatch photos, the handle while awesome makes holding the bottle for photos difficult.

Colour Prevails is available at Walgreens and online at http://colourprevails.com, these retail for $8 each. While I do like the color, formula and special handle the bottles are on the small side (they are 0.32 fl oz., OPI are 0.50 fl oz. just for comparison) and for $8 I don't think they are something I'll be running to buy more of.

Digital Nails The Dude Abides Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was pretty good, I got a lot of blog stuff done then went out to dinner with my parents for Fathers Day last night.  The only crappy thing was that my AC is dead...again. I got a whole 2 weeks out of my home warranty company "fixing" it. Luckily the AC guy my parents have used to years was able to come look at it and I need a whole new unit inside the house so it'll get fixed on Tuesday or Wednesday. I swear, like everything that can break in a house has broken in my condo since I bought it...usually multiple times. I just can't seem to catch a break.

Anyway...today I have The Dude Abides from Digital Nails to share with you guys. I was scrolling through my instagram feed a few weeks back and came across a swatch of polish this from mcpolish and was like :O and went and bought it. Amy is such an enabler, I love her swatches and wish I could rock shorties like she does!

The Dude Abides is a beige crelly loaded with multi chrome flakies and a soft multicolored shimmer. I'm a big fan of these multi chrome flakies in crelly bases and this one is so good! Its a great neutral with a pop, I think I've worn it at least twice already since I got it which is kind of crazy for me. The formula was really nice, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Digital Nails is available at https://www.etsy.com/shop/DigitalNails, this polish retails for $12!

HI guys! Today I have the Contrary Polish contribution to the July 2015 A Box Indied to share with you! The theme for the July Box is Summer Daze so I'm sure it will include a bunch of gorgeous juicy summer shades!

The Contrary Polish shade for the July box is called A Walk In The Park and its a light grassy green with pink-orange color shifting shimmer. The shimmer shows up more in person than it does in photos, it was a little camera shy :( The formula was really nice, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below. This does dry matte, I used top coat for my photos!

The July 2015 A Box Indied will be available at Llarowe.com on June 26th! This polish is only available via A Box Indied!

Love, Angeline Frolic Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a polish from Love, Angeline to share with you! I had heard of this brand a while back but after a #NailGlossip chat about under rated indies in April I decided to finally order since the brand was brought up a few times. I ended up getting 3 polishes and some of the Nail Shields (nail vinyls) Love, Angeline makes. To see a mani I did with the Nail Shields check out my Instagram here.

I have to say before I get into the review of the polish, I was pretty disappointed with this brands very slow shipping. When I placed my order the shipping turn around time said 5-10 business days, which was fine. After 13 business days and no tracking info I emailed the maker on her website and through Facebook checking to see what the status was. When I got a response I was told it would be mailed out the next day...awesome! A shipping label was created the next day but it wasn't actually dropped off at the post office until 6 days later. After the delay I got my order a couple days short of a month after I placed it. I do like the polishes and vinyls but if I decide to buy from Love, Angeline again it will probably be through a stockist. A month between placing an order and getting it is longer than I'd like to wait unless I am fully aware that is how long it will take when I purchase. Like I said, I do enjoy the polishes I bought and the vinyls, I just want to share my experience since that is really the whole point of having a blog haha :P

Onto the polish! Frolic is a magenta base with a subtle linear holo and iridescent flakies! The flakies don't show much in the photos but in person you could see them very well! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had a nice consistency and opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Love, Angeline is available at http://www.loveangeline.com/ for a list of stockists check out http://www.loveangeline.com/stockists/. Frolic retails for $15

Zoya Summer 2015 Island Fun Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, I ended up going to the doctor on Monday for my finger and apparently I somehow injured the flexor tendon :/ The doctor is having me wear a little brace thing on my finger and typing has been a challenge...hence why there was no post yesterday. I tried typing one up but rage quit half way through lol! Hopefully I'll be back to being able to bend my finger soon, luckily I didn't tear it because apparently that requires surgery to fix! Still no idea how I actually managed to hurt myself.

Today I have the Island Fun Collection from Zoya for ya! This is 1/2 of their Summer 2015 offerings and it includes 6 new creme polishes. I always get excited for the Summer collections from Zoya, especially the creme half. I know cremes aren't *that* exciting but I really enjoy them! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Serum No. 5 June 2015 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was alright. It started off great on Friday...my AC got fixed woohoo! It's so nice having it be a livable temperature in my place again. I was having a great weekend until I woke up yesterday morning and wasn't able to bend my index finger on my left hand. Not sure what I did to it between going to bed on Saturday and waking up Sunday but it's all swollen and painful to bend. I'm hoping it somehow gets better on its own so I don't have to visit the doctor.

Today I have June 2015 from Serum No. 5 to share with you! This newest polish Victoria's one and done monthlies is a red base with blue, red and gold glitter. The glitter might not actually be red and gold but thats how it looking to my eyeballs...its hard to tell with the base color :P This glows a brilliant yellow in the dark!

The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. Depending on how you apply it's a 2-3 coater, I ended up using 3 to deepen up the shade! I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

June 2015 will be available starting today at SerumNo5.com get it while you can because once its gone its gone for good!
