Painted Polish Mad Romance Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Mad Romance Collection for Valentines Day from Painted Polish to share with you. This 8 piece collection is full of reds and pinks with a couple pops of other colors thrown in! These are available now and perfect for the holiday! Check out the swatches after the jump.

Calls for Chocolate is a red base with red micro glitter and holographic micro glitter. This red has a little brown to it which I quite like. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. It does dry down a little dull so top coat will bring it to life. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Candy Crushed is various sizes of pink, gold and silver glitter in a clear base. This one is really pretty, you could wear it as a topper but it builds to full opacity nicely on its own also. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and application was easy. It starts out sheer but builds easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Crazy Cupid is a white crelly with silver, gold, pink and holographic glitter. The formula was on the thick side for this one, it was easy to apply on the first coat but a little tricky with the second if you first coat isn't completely dried down. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Forever Friend-Zoned is a fuchsia holo with holographic micro glitter. This one was much more sparkly in person, my whole indoor lighting thing still isn't doing any favors to holos :( The formula was good, it was a touch thick but easy to apply and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Heartthrob Hustler is a pink holographic micro glitter. This one was so sparkly that it totally spazzed out my camera haha! Sorry about that :D The formula was a touch thick but easy to apply and with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Secretly Smitten is a purple toned pink holographic micro glitter in a clear base. The formula was good, it was a little bit sheer but easy to build. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Sinful Suitor is a fuchsia leaning pink micro glitter. The base of this is almost clear so you can really see how well it builds up on the nail. The formula was a touch thick but not a problem to apply with thin coats. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Woo Who? is a pink holo with bright pink glitter and holographic micro glitter. This is my personal favorite of the collection, it just looks really interesting on the nail! The formula was a little bit thick but easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Unfortunately this polish is already sold out, and won't be restocked *sad face* but Forever Friend-Zoned is in the same family and its still available!

The Mad Romance Collection from Painted Polish is available now at PaintedPolish.com, the polishes range from $10-$12. Heartthrob Hustler and Sinful Suitor are out of stock right now but should be back in early March!
