First Impression Friday: NailNation3000

Hi guys, quick disclaimer before I get into todays post. If I seem more negative or down than usual in this post I apologize. It has been a hell of a week. Degen severely injured himself on Wednesday afternoon and had to have surgery on his neck last night to fix a protruding disk between his c2 and c3 vertebra. He came through the surgery ok, thankfully, but to say I have been a wreck because of stress would be an understatement. I feel like it has probably seeped through into this post, since it was half written like a month ago and then finished this afternoon while I was waiting to hear about Degen's surgery.

Today I have some goodies that I picked up from NailNation3000 to share with you. This brand has been on my need to try list for a long time, I've always heard good things about their holos. THey sell a ton of products other than polish, everything from cuticle oil to striping tape and nail art brushes. I ended up picking up 3 polishes and a cuticle oil.

I placed my other on 1/4 and everything arrived on 1/9 so the turn around time was fantastic! The polishes arrived in a bubble mailed and the polishes were wrapped in bubble wrap. The cuticle oil was double wrapped in bubble wrap which was nice. There was also a small bag of rhinestones as a freebie in the package.

I did want to mention that while the shipping experience was good I had a heck of a time navigating their website, there is a lot of stuff on it and its all just there in no kind of order. There was like 9 pages like that and it almost turned me off buying at all to be completely honest. There are tags on each listing but when you click them it takes you to that tag for everything listed on Storeenvy (where their storefront is hosted) instead of everything just on their site with that tag. It was confusing and like I said, just hard to navigate.

Check out everything I got after the jump!

Nine Zero Lacquer March 2016 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have March 2016 from Nine Zero Lacquer to share with you! This polish will be available for another week so if you like it you should be sure to go grab it soon!

March 2016 is a really pretty green holo. This has a nice smooth linear holo along with some bigger silver holo glitters. This was much more holo IRL than it is in my photos this month. Still trying to figure out how to make holo come out under indoor lighting....the struggle is real! The formula was great, it was a great consistency and had fantastic opacity (nearly a 1 coater!). I used 2 coats for the photos below.

March 2016 is available at until the end of the month, it retails for $11

Serum No. 5 March 2016 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! I'm back :) It's been a crappy few weeks and I'm glad to get back to blogging now. My Grandma passed away on March 5th so since then I just haven't felt like doing much. She was starting to do a bit better but then we think she had a stroke and when it was clear that she wasn't going to get better we decided to let her go comfortably on her own terms. Let me just tell you, it sucked to be there for that, I don't wish it on my worst enemy.

Anyway, not something I really want to talk about so let's talk about polish! Today I have March 2016 from Serum No. 5 to share with you. This is the current one and done polish from Serum and its still available in her shop until its sold out! March 2016 is a glitter topper, its filled with green, white and blue glitter and has a little shimmer to it. This also glows bright green in the dark! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter distributes nicely. I found 2 coats to be best, it glowed better that way. I used 2 coats plus top coat over Contrary Polish Cloud for the photos below.

Serum No. 5 is available at, March 2016 retails for $13

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a blog hiatus. I don't know how long it will be for but I just really can't think about polish right now.

I just wanted to make everyone aware so you guys don't think I just up and disappeared.

Thanks for your understanding

Sunny's Body Products Sweet Treats 2.0 Box Review

Hi guys! Before I get into the post, just want to say a big thank you for the kind comments and emails I've gotten wishing my Grandma the best. She's doing much better and was actually moved out of the ICU yesterday, which is great! Posting will likely still be a little sporadic next week due to literally only being home to sleep between my job and being at the hospital but I'm hoping to not be there all day on the weekends so I can have some Jen time too :)

Anyway, today I have the Sweet Treats 2.0 Box from Sunny's Body Products to share with you! I was super excited when Sunny announced this box, the original Sweet Treats Box has been one of my favorites (even though I don't think I posted it). I love food scents so this is right up my alley! This box is a bit bigger than past boxes as it includes 2 newly launched products from Sunny, both of which I really enjoy! Check out everything in the box after the jump!
