Serum No. 5 March 2016 Swatch & Review

Hi guys! I'm back :) It's been a crappy few weeks and I'm glad to get back to blogging now. My Grandma passed away on March 5th so since then I just haven't felt like doing much. She was starting to do a bit better but then we think she had a stroke and when it was clear that she wasn't going to get better we decided to let her go comfortably on her own terms. Let me just tell you, it sucked to be there for that, I don't wish it on my worst enemy.

Anyway, not something I really want to talk about so let's talk about polish! Today I have March 2016 from Serum No. 5 to share with you. This is the current one and done polish from Serum and its still available in her shop until its sold out! March 2016 is a glitter topper, its filled with green, white and blue glitter and has a little shimmer to it. This also glows bright green in the dark! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter distributes nicely. I found 2 coats to be best, it glowed better that way. I used 2 coats plus top coat over Contrary Polish Cloud for the photos below.

Serum No. 5 is available at serumno5.com, March 2016 retails for $13

  8. Hi Jen, you have my deepest condolences on the loss of your dear grandmother. I've been through a few deaths myself, and I think it's wonderful that you could be there for her at the end. We have to think of them, not so much our own feelings, hard as that is. I'm sure getting back to blogging is a welcome distraction and way for you to cope. <3 <3 <3 Much love!

  11. Thank you Cat, I agree about having to think of them...that was the only comfort in dealing with letting her go. We knew its what she would have wanted. Blogging is definitely a welcome distraction, I'm glad to be back with it!

  21. My deepest sympathies on your loss. Having been with my grandpa when he passed, I know it it one of the hardest choices and greatest gifts you can give, to be able to let a loved one go. I'm sure your grandma was a wonderful woman whose life will be remembered with love and celebration.

    Welcome back.

  23. I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad lost his brother last month and I couldn't go to the funeral. My grandfather is 97 and I know at some point it will be his time and as much as I tell myself I'll be okay because he was around for a good while I know I'm not going to be able to deal with it.

Glad that you're back though! This is a really gorgeous polish.
