Cirque Spring/Summer 2016 Metropolis Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Spring/Summer Metropolis Collection from Cirque to share with you. This 9 piece collection is made up of all creme finish polish. I love a good creme and Cirque makes wonderful ones so I was pretty excited about these! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Chelsea Girl is a rich purple creme. The formula was great, it was smooth and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Don't Forget The Cannoli is an off-white/ivory creme. The formula was really nice, it was a good consistency and not streaky. It also had great opacity and was opaque in 2 coats.

Fire Island is a red toned orange creme. This does lean red but it does look orange the majority of the time. The formula was good, again really nice to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Key To Gramercy is a light minty green creme. The formula was great on this one, really smooth to apply with no streakiness. The opacity was great! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lox and Sable is a light salmon pink, or peachy pink depending on what you'd like to call it. I always adore these kinds of shades, they tend to work well with my skin tone. The formula was really nice, creamy and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Meet Me In Montauk is a light pale blue creme. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and went on evenly with no streaks. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Mermaid Parade is a blue leaning teal creme. I would recommend doubling up on basecoat with this one, I didn't have staining but these types of blues can stain. The formula was good, easy to apply with a smooth consistency and good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Rhapsody in Blue is a cobalt blue creme. No surprise here, I love this one. I will never get tired of blues like this! This polish is a re-release, it was previously known as Santorini and was part of the one of the Nordstrom Pop Up Collections Cirque did recently. The formula was good, it was a little skunky due to the pigment but thats the norm with these types of blue. The consistency was good and the opacity was really nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Whitney is a light pink toned beige-y nude. I always have problems knowing what to call these types of shades lol! This is a nice neutral for those of us with pink undertones. The formula was good, it was smooth and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Overall this collection is fantastic, Cirque did a fantastic job across the board with the formulas and the colors are gorgeous. My picks are Rhapsody in Blue and Lox and Sable.

The Spring/Summer 2016 Metropolis Collection is available now at CirqueColors.com, each polish retails for $13
