Hi guys! Today I have the Spring It On Collection from Contrary Polish to share with you. This collection is made up of 5 cremes and a holo/shimmer topper, there is also an exclusive shade that you can only get with the entire set that I have to show you also. I was really excited for these when they released, they are really nice dusty spring tones. I feel like we see some of these pop up every now and then in collections but we don't usually get a whole collection of them. Check out all the swatches after the jump!
Bloom is a dusty lilac creme. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below,
Breeze is a dusty blue leaning periwinkle creme. This is one of my favorites of the collection, not only because of the color but because the formula was so nice. It was smooth and easy to apply with great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Cloud is an off white creme. This polish is exclusive to the Contrary Polish website and only available when you purchase the collection as a whole. This one has more of a crelly feel to it than the others and its also a touch more sheer. The formula was good, it was sheer but easily buildable and opaque in 3 coats.
Dewy is the topper for the collection, it has a subtle holo and pink shimmer. This works great over every polish in the collection, or pretty much any creme color that you can find. It looks great with 1 coat for a nice subtle sparkle or you can do 2 coats for a little more bang. I really enjoyed the 1 coat personally :)
Below is 1 coat of Dewy over a couple polishes from the collection.
Fresh is a dusty lavender creme. This is similar to bloom but it has more blue tones and is a bit darker. The formula was good, it was a smooth consistency and applied with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Shower is a dusty aqua creme. This is my overall favorite of the collection, I'm sure I have something similar since I have a problem buying petty creme polishes but this is just so pretty! The formula was great, easy to work with and smooth to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Sprout is a dusty sage green creme. This is the perfect fresh green for Spring...it's a nice counterpart to some of the brighter greens that Spring collections usually bring. The formula was good, again very smooth and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
