Frenzy Polish Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a bunch of polishes from Frenzy Polish to share with you. I was really excited to try out Frenzy when these showed up, they have been on my list of brands to try for a while now. Frenzy offers up a really nice variety of polishes including gorgeous holos and shimmers. These are all available now at Color4Nails. There will be a link and a discount code at the end of the post if you want to pick any of these up! Check out the swatches after the jump.

Falling Apart To Half Time is a black base with a strong blue shimmer and holo. I really like how this one is a bit of a chameleon, depending on the lighting you're in it goes between blue and black. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Gossamer is a light grey with a scattered holo with violet shimmer and iridescent gold and silver micro flakes. The formula was good, again a nice consistency that was easy to apply and it had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Illusory is a blue jelly with vibrant teal shimmer. This polish was one that I had on my list to get from Frenzy and man it did not disappoint! The shimmer stands out well and really shines out in the sun. The formula was good, it was more opaque than I expected and it was easy to apply. It did dry down a little dull so you'll want to top coat it. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

I didn't have staining with this but it is the type of shade that can stain so I'd suggest 2 coats of base coat with this.

Mirage is a minty blue with a scattered holo and aqua shimmer. The formula was good, much more opaque than expected and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Mystify is described as a forest green scattered holographic jelly with green shimmer and blue, aqua, brown, yellow and orange micro glitters. There is a lot going on in this polish, it was fun to move around my fingers and stare at it haha! The formula was good, it was a bit sheer but it built easily. It did dry with a tiny bit of texture so you'll need top coat to smooth it out. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Paradox is a scattered berry holo. There is a bit of purple and orange shimmer also which is really pretty. The formula was good, it was easy to apply but a little bit sheer. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Purple Calla II is a blurple holo. In other photos I've seen of this it leaned a bit more purple but on me it was very much leaning to the blue side. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below. -

The Earth Awakens is a light tan holo. The holo in this was stronger in person than I could capture it. It was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

This Ain't A Scene is a dusty teal base with gold shimmer and pink/gold ultra chrome flakies. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photo below.

Three Fingered Salute is a light grey with green shimmer and blue to green iridescent flakies. The formula was good, I was expecting it to be on the sheer side because of how light the base it but that wasn't the case at all. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Veiled is a blurple shimmer with aqua shimmer and flecks. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. It dried down a little dull so you'll want to top coat it to bring it to life. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

  1. I love how these are anything but your basic greys and blues upon closer inspection, a couple of my favorite shades year-round. Very nice! Another to add to my ever-growing list to try.... as the mind boggles at how huge nails, nail art, etc., has gotten in the past few years. I'm trying to get my nails healthy again after years of nail biting to acrylics, tips and genetic tendency towards weak nails. Growing nails is almost worse than growing in overplucked brows, and my hands feel nekkid, lol! I figure if I keep them manicured, moisturize the heck out of my cutucles and wear polishes I love I'll be less tempted to pick at them and muck up all my growing-out hard work.

  4. So beautiful that it's impossible for me to pick a favourite! Gourgeous swatches, but I miss the sun light on your photos, especially with holo swatches.
