Girly Bits Sweet Nothings Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a brand new collection from Girly Bits to share with you. This collection is called Sweet Nothings and it will be available starting on 5/14.This 7 piece collection is like a breath of fresh air with shimmery pastels and a couple pretty glitters! Check out all the polishes after the jump!

Bleu de tes Yeux is a sky blue crelly with blue and platinum silver shimmer. This is my favorite of the collection, the shimmer is beautiful! The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good opacity. It did dry down a little dull so you'll want to top coat it to bring out all of the shimmer! I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Bonbon D'Amour is a white crelly loaded with neon circle glitter, pastel circle glitter and little purple metallic flakes. The formula was a touch thick but relatively easy to apply and the opacity was good. Pam is going to be reformulating this one before it goes out to you guys so it should be a bit more fluid for those that purchase it. This dries down with a little texture from the glitter but its easily smoothed out with 1 to 2 coats of top coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Jai Besoin de Toi is a light sage green with platinum silver shimmer. The shimmer is subtle in this one but not quite as subtle as my camera captured it. The formula was good, it was a little streaky on the first coat but it was opaque and even with the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Mon Cheri is a blush/light rosy pink with peach, gold and platinum silver shimmer. This is another stand out for me, the shimmer is interesting and its the type of rosy pink that will flatter most skin tones. The formula was good, it was a teensy bit streaky on the first coat but like the previous polish it was opaque and even with the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Mon Chou Chou is a lilac crelly with pink, blue and platinum silver shimmer. This one has the most bang for your buck in the shimmer department! The formula was good, it was a little bit more sheer than the others but it built up easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Mon Petit Canard is a pastel yellow crelly with copper and platinum silver shimmer. This is another where the shimmer is subtle but not as subtle as my camera captured. The formula was good, a little thick but easy to apply with really great opacity. There was some minor streakiness on the first coat but it was opaque with the second. This dried down a little dull so you'll want to top coat it. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Tarte au Sucre is a lilac micro glitter. This has a lot going on, it has a bunch of holographic micro glitter, bits of red shimmer and a sprinkle of iridescent glitter. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good glitter coverage. Depending on how you apply this you'll need either 2 or 3 coats, I used 3 coats plus top coat for my photos.

The Sweet Nothings Collection will be available at GirlyBitsCosmetics.com starting on 5/14/16, each polish retails for $16.50 CAD (which is about $13 USD give or take a few cents). For a limited time you can also pick up the full collection which will save you approximately $1 per bottle and it comes with a complimentary Macaron Lip Butter from Alter Ego Bath & Body.
