Additional Addictions: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today for Additional Addictions Saturday I have the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette to share with you! Before I get into it though, how do you like the series name? It was a suggestion from the fabulous Amy of McPolish/PolishETC!

Originally I wasn't planning on picking this palette up, I went to Sephora for something else and saw this displayed and decided to grab it after swatching the 2 highlighters. In addition to the 2 highlighers there are also 3 blushes. The packaging for the palette is gorgeous, its extremely sturdy and has nice weight to it.

Champagne Pop is a golden highlighter. I had been lusting after this for a long time but never bought it because I was worried that it might not work with my skintone but I actually quite like it. Its one of those highlighters were a little goes a really long way so you don't need much to get a nice glow!

Prosecco Pop is a lighter more yellow toned golden highlighter. This was the reason I ended up buying the palette. I knew that if I didn't end up loving Champagne Pop that this one would work well for me! Much like Champagne Pop a little goes a long way!

Rose Spritz is a peachy pink blush with a strong golden shimmer. I don't really wear shimmery blush, since I have larger pores on my cheeks it tends to emphasize them but I'm thinking this will work well for an eyeshadow. The pigmentation of the blush is really nice, its one you just need to tap your brush in and you're good to go.

Amaretto is a warm brown toned rose matte blush. I was excited about this one because I don't really have any blushes this color but for me the formula is a miss. I found it to be very dry and patchy plus it was hard to blend out.

Pamplemousse is a medium pink blush with a slight satin finish. Its almost matte but there is a touch more of a sheen than Amaretto had. I found this one to be a little dry also but not as patchy as Amaretto. This is the type of blush shade I usually go for so I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it!

The Champagne Collection Face Palette is available now at Sephora.com and in Sephora stores. This is LE and I believe it won't be restocked so if you want it make sure to grab it soon! This palette retails for $52!

  1. Looks like a nice face palette.

  2. I think this palette is a great value but I think based on my collection I'd buy Champagne Pop alone xx

  3. Haha! Awesome name :)

I, too, have picked up this face palette and have been digging it. I have Champagne Pop in a smaller version from another palette last year and love it. Rose Spritz is really great. Try a little bit of it over Amaretto and see if you like it better.

  4. I have read the formula in this palette for Champagne Pop is not the same as the solo version.
After the debacle with the now pulled eye palette, I don't trust anything with Jaclyn Hill's name attached to it.

  5. I'll give that a try!

  6. I have this but haven't used it yet because I am contemplating returning it, simply because I don't neeeeed it.... But who am I kidding, of course I need it! LOL
