CrowsToes Triple M Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was good, minus the fact that I got a new upstairs neighbor who decided to move in on Saturday night at 10pm and stomp around like bigfoot wearing clogs until around 4am. Needless to say I am not excited for what the future will bring with this super neighbor above me.

Today I have the Triple M Collection from CrowsToes to share with you! These polishes are available until tomorrow morning for pre-order! This is a 5 piece collection with some serious stunners, one especially is kinda blowing my mind! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Always is a sheer pink base loaded with a strong blue flash of shimmer. This is beautiful and delicate on its own but you could also layer it over another polish and get a totally different look from it! I'm a little obsessed with how it looks over a nude polish over on Polished Pathology, which you can see here! I used this one on its own, and it built better than I thought it would that way. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and was easy to apply. I used 3 coats plus top coat on its own for my photos. If you wanted to layer this over another shade you'd probably only need 1 coat!

Betelgeuse is a teal jelly base with a green/purple duochrome effect, strong purple/pink shimmer and ultra chrome flakies. This polish is everything, like I can't even with it. You need it...trust me. The formula was a touch thick but it was easy to apply and much more opaque than I expected. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

It Just Doesn't Matter! is a white crelly base with green and silver holo glitter. There is a nice mix of sizes of glitter in here. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and had good opacity and glitter payoff. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The Hostile Witness is a rich purple shimmer. This is the kind of glowy lit from within shimmer that I really enjoy! The formula was good, it was a smooth consistency and easy to apply with nice opacity. it did dry down a little dull so you'll want to top coat it to bring out the shimmer to its full potential. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The Hostile Witness Bedazzled Topper is a glitter topper with gold and silver glitter. There is also some little holo sparkles in here. The formula was good, it was not thick despite being nice and dense with glitter. I used 1 dabbed coat plus top coat over The Hostile Witness for the photos below.

The Triple M Collection is available now until June 7th at Noon EST for Preorder at http://crowstoesnailcolor.bigcartel.com, prices range from $12-$13!

Love Always (and fabulous over that nude!!) and It Just Doesn't Matter!

  3. Oh my gosh your swatches are stunning! Thanks for the link, Always is such a chameleon it looks great over almost anything!

  4. I like It Just Doesn't Matter! It looks so milky and delicious!

  5. Jen, how would you say Betelgeuse compares to Femme Fatale's Mad as a Hatter? that dark green base loaded with flakies looks pretty close to me, and i know there were a bunch of people that really wanted the FF but didn't catch it before it sold out.

  6. Betelgeuse is much more multi chrome-y!

  7. thank you!! "much more" = different enough that i need both for sure!
