Different Dimension Summer 2016 Fun In The Sun Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Summer 2016 Fun In The Sun Collection from Different Dimension to share with you! This collection is launching tomorrow July 1st! In addition to 6 new polishes there will also be 5 new cuticle oil scents, I'll have scent descriptions at the end of the post if you're interested! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Don't Be A Shady Beach is a neon pink jelly with black glitter in various shapes and little bits of holo and iridescent glitter. The formula was a little thick but it was easy to apply. The opacity was better than I expected and I only needed 2 coats for this one. This dries a little bit dull and with some texture from the glitter so you'll want to top coat it to smooth it out and shine it up! I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Hello From The Other Tide is a silver micro glitter along with pink, yellow and blue neon glitter in a silver holographic base. This is much  better in real life, the holo aspect just isn't coming out in my photos. The formula was on the thick side but I had no issues with application. This is sheer but buildable, you could just it as a topper with 1 thin coat. I used 3 coats for full opacity. This does dry with a bit of texture so you may need a couple coats of top coat to smooth it.

Mermaid Kisses is a neon blue with silver holographic micro glitter. This is my favorite of the 3 polishes in this type of finish. The glitter stands out really nicely and overall the blue is just a really nice shade! The formula was good, it was a touch thick but in a good way that made it easy to apply. The opacity was also good, it did dry down matte and with texture. I used 2 coats plus top coat for my photos below. You will probably need a couple coats of top coat for this one also.

Soak Up The Sun is a chartreuse neon with silver holographic micro glitter. This one is super bright and depending on your skin tone it can lean either more towards yellow or green...it was kind of right in the middle for me.The formula was a little thick but again easy to work with and it had good opacity. It dries down matte and with texture, you'll need a couple coats of top coat to smooth everything out. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Starfish Wishes is a neon pink with silver holographic micro glitter. My camera was having issues with this one because of how saturated the pink is, the glitter is more noticeable in real life. The formula was a little thick but easy to apply and with good opacity. This also dries down matte and with some texture, again a couple coats of top coat will be needed! I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Surf's Up is a white cruelly with blue, pink and yellow hex, square and circle glitter. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. It was sheer but it built easily and was opaque in 3 coats. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The new cuticle oil scents that will also be available with this collection are:

Beat The Heat- a blend of muddle raspberries with lemon, sugar and vanilla
On Beach Time- Fresh watery honeydew and sweet watermelon combined with crisp, cool cucumber
Wipe Out- Sparkling mandarin with honeydew, fresh hibiscus and vanilla
Beach Bum- Sweet pineapple and lucious mango with notes of lotus flower and warm vanilla
Catch A Wave- Tropical citrus blend of pineapple, grapefruit and orange

The Fun In The Sun Collection will be available starting 71/16 at 9pm EDT. The polishes range from $8.75-$10 with the exception of Surf's Up which is $5! You can also grab all 6 for $50!
