First Impression Friday: Moo Moo Signatures

Happy Friday! Anyone doing fun things for the weekend? I'm hoping to get the majority of my kitchen cabinets painted white. Its the last thing that needs to be done to finish my kitchen so I need to kick my butt into gear and do it!

This week for First Impression Friday I have some polishes from Moo Moo Signatures to share with you! These are made by the same person who runs Mei Mei Signatures, an etailer that sells a variety of brands. I had a bunch of Moo Moo Signatures polishes on my wishlist for a long time but finally a beautiful swatch from KellieGonzo pushed me over the edge and I finally bought some!

I placed my order on 5/31/16 and they arrived on 6/8/16. The shipping time was out of control fast, these came all the way from Singapore to So Cal in a week! The polishes were shipped in a plastic bag mailer and each was heavily bubbled wrapped so nothing broke in transit. There was also a business card included and even an extra which was unexpected and beyond generous. Once you unwrap the polishes they are each in a little tulle-like bag with sequins on it, there was also a little pom pom that matched the color of the polish. All together it was a really nice presentation and I appreciate when I get stuff with that extra little something like the bags and pom poms.

Check out the polishes I got after the jump!

Exotic Foliage is an army green creme with pink shimmer. The shimmer is much stronger in person than it shows in my photos. This polish is what prompted my order, I saw Kellie's swatch and had to have it. The formula was good, it was a bit sheer on the first coat but it built to full opacity with the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photo below.

Monster in The Woods is a chocolate brown creme base with strong green shimmer and little bits of holo. I really love this combo, its interesting and the shimmer stands out nicely. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. It does dry a little dull so you'll want to top coat it to bring it to life. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photo below.

Moo Spell is a purple creme base with strong blue shimmer and pink glitter. This is one I almost didn't buy but man, I am SO glad I did because it was much prettier on the nail than I thought it would be! The formula was good, it was creamy and easy to apply with good opacity. This one also dried a little dull so you'll want to top coat it. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photo below.

Viva Forever is a cobalt blue creme base with a strong fuchsia shimmer. This is the extra that was included, I actually had it in my bag but decided to take it out before I ordered so it was such a nice surprise to have it included. The shimmer in this one is much much more noticeable in person than my camera could capture. The formula was good, it was a little sheer but it built easily and was easy to apply. This one dries down dull, top coat will bring out the shine! I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photo below.

Overall I really like all 4 of the polishes, if you like shimmers like I do this is a brand you'll want to check out! I know I will be ordering again in the future! Moo Moo Signatures is available at http://moomoosignatures.bigcartel.com.
