KBShimmer Fall 2016 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Fall 2016 Collection from KBShimmer to share with you! This collection includes all the finishes KBShimmer is known for, from great cremes to crazy sparkly holos and crelly glitters! These are launching tomorrow on the KBShimmer site and their their stockists, all of that info will be at the end of the post! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Flake Me Home Tonight is a light minty blue metallic flake glitter and holographic flake glitter. I love this finish from KBShimmer, it is SO sparkly! The formula was great, it was easy to apply with perfect glitter payoff. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Fright This Way is a black jelly base with purple glitter and a sprinkle of holographic shimmer. This is the perfect Halloween glitter, I think! The formula was good, it was sheer due to the jelly base but it was easy to apply and it built nicely. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Grin and Gerbera It is a medium pink creme. This isn't the kind of pink that I would normally go for but I ended up really liking it on my skin tone. The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Little Boy Hue is a light dusty blue creme. I used some bat glitter for an accent nail on this mani, the glitter is from KBShimmer and is called Bat $#*! Crazy which I kind of love haha! The formula was great, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Oh My Ganache is a rich brown holo. The holo in this is a bit more linear in real life, not sure why my camera wasn't picking it up a little better. The formula was good, it was really easy to apply and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Orchidding Me? is a vibrant purple holo. I love this one, I don't think pictures do justice to how gorgeous the shade of purple is. The formula was great, it was a good consistency and applied like a dream. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Poppy Kisses is an orange toned red holo. This looks like it has a little gold flash of shimmer to it also. The formula was great, it was a perfect consistency and it had great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Sage It Ain't So is a light sage green crelly with copper, purple and silver glitter. This one won't be everyones cup of tea but its right up my alley! The formula was good, it was a little sheer but it built easily. Depending on how you apply it, its either a 2 or 3 coater. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Sweet Devotion is a white crelly with multicolored glitter in various sizes. The formula was good, it was sheer at first but easy to apply and it builds easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The Best Mum Ever is a purple leaning periwinkle base with pink micro flakes of glitter. This is my overall favorite of the collection, the finish is interesting and I just really like how it looks on the nail. The formula was good, it was a little patchy on the first coat but it was completely opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Tiers of Joy is an off white crelly with gold, nutmeg and pink glitter. The glitter in this is on the subtle side, which I kind of like. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had ok opacity. Depending on your application it will be a 2-3 coater, I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Turning Pointe is a peachy pink glittery  holo. This is the same finish as the Mega Flame Collection so if you liked those this one will be right up your alley. The formula was good, it was sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

  3. I think Fright This Way is my favourite in this collection. Turning Pointe is also nice but not unique at all.

  4. the flakie holos, like Flake Me Home Tonight, are they kinda painful to remove, or as easy as UC flakies? that sparkle is so awesome...but looks so much like glitter where i'm gonna be scrubbing.

  5. they are more like glitters, I always use them with a peel off base to avoid the headache!
