Zoya Summer 2016 Seashells Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was good! I watched a lot of the Olympic streams this weekend and worked on putting my kitchen back together. Today I have the second half of Zoya's Summer polishes to share with you. This half is called Seashells and its made up of 6 new PixieDust polishes! I was really excited about these when the news about them being PixieDust's came out, I was always a big fan of textured polish and Zoya does them well. Check out the swatches after the jump!

Bay is a light blue with tiny gold and silver glitter. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had a nice consistency. It was opaque with 2 coats but I found that the color deepened a little with 3 coats so thats what I ended up going with.

CeCe is a green with green glitter and gold shimmer. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. It was a bit sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Levi is a golden base with holographic bits of glitter. The glitter in this one is a little bigger, its not as big as the glitter in the ultra PixieDust's that Zoya did previously but its larger than the original Pixies. The formula was not my favorite, I found it to be a little watery and it flooded the cuticle easily. Despite the watery formula it did have nice opacity, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Linda is a red base with pink and gold micro glitter. This one tends to look pretty shiny even when its completely dried down as you can tell in my photos. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Tilly is an icy silver base with gunmetal glitter and bits of holo. This is my favorite of the collection, the color combo is really pretty and I especially like the holo in this one. The formula was good, it was a touch sheer on the first coat but opaque with the second. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Zooey is a pink base with gold shimmer and holographic hex glitter. The glitter in this one is a little bigger than I like in PixieDust polishes but the overall finish is quite pretty. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Seashells Collection from Zoya is available now at Zoya.com, each one retails for $10

  1. I just love the Pixie Dusts and was really glad Zoya decided to bring them back! I picked up Cece and Tilly.
Is it just me or Linda is a Dupe for OPI Magazine Cover Mouse? Btw, I miss your comparison posts! I can only imagine the work involved in making one, though.
    Kisses from Brazil!

  3. I think I might finally be over textured polish. I still loved them long after everyone else was saying they'd seen their time, and I am glad Zoya decided to bring more out and that they're not gone - but I'm not as in love with them as I once was.
