Contrary Polish Fall 2016 Playing With Fire Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Today I have the Contrary Polish Playing With Fire Collection for Fall 2016 to share with you. This is a 4 piece collection that is launching today! There is a nice mix of finishes from glitters to shimmers and even a matte! Check out the swatches after the jump.

Ashes is a light grey with silver shimmer. This dries to a satin matte finish which I really love! The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. It was a touch patchy on the first coat but it was perfect with the second. I used 2 coats, no top coat, for the photos below.

Embers is a grey toned brown with orange/red glass fleck shimmer. I love this one, its the kind of polish that originally made me fall in love with Contrary Polish! The shimmer stands out nicely when the light hits your nails and is especially brilliant out in the sunlight. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had a good consistency. This was sheer but it built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Flames is an orange toned red jelly loaded with copper and red to copper shimmer and flakes. This one has a ton of depth to it with the shimmer and flakes and they stand out nicely even against such a saturated base color. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. This was a little sheer on the first coat but opacity with the second. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Sparks is an off white base with gold holo glitter and gold chrome flakes. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good glitter payoff. It was sheer but it builds nicely. I used 3 coats plus top coat for my photos.
