First Impression Friday: Blush Lacquers

Happy Friday! First Impression Friday is finally back! I was  hoping it would be back last week but the power at my house decided to go out half way through writing this post and the whole thing got deleted. This week for First Impression Friday I have the brand Blush Lacquers to share with you. Blush Lacquers is a relatively new brand but they have put out some stunners already! I was drawn in by one of the polishes in this post and let me just say...it is probably my favorite polish that I've purchased for this First Impression Friday series.

I placed my order on September 1st and received it on September 6th so the turn around time was great! The polishes were sent in a bubble mailer with a business card and invoice copy. The polishes were bubble wrapped and wrapped in tissue paper.

Check out what I got after the jump!

Nerida Singer is a medium green with a strong flash of red to copper shimmer. This is the polish that made me run to Blush Lacquers site and holy crap guys...it does not disappoint! If you like greens and don't have this you are seriously missing out. The shimmer in this polish is just outstanding, I thought maybe it wouldn't be as fantastical as it looks in photos but its even BETTER in person. I really can't say enough great things about how pretty this polish is, its one of my favorites of the year...if not all time. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had a good consistency. This was sheer but it built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Shelly O' The Sands is a dusty light blue with a strong pink to orange shimmer. The shimmer isn't quite as fantastical as Nerida Singer but its pretty good also. Its much more noticeable in real life than it shows in photos. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. It is sheer but it builds easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

The Weathered Road is a medium/dark grey with silver flakes of glitter and a sprinkle of holo. This was the September COTM but it looks like its still available! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and had good opacity. Depending on how you apply you may need 3 coats for this but I only needed 2. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Overall I am really impressed with the polishes I picked up and will be buying from Blush Lacquers in the future! You can find Blush Lacquers at https://www.etsy.com/shop/BLUSHLacquers, polishes retail for $9!

  5. Beautiful! Nerida Singer reminded me of Femme Fatale Infamous Riddle with the combination of olive base and red shimmer. Shelly O' The Sands is my favorite!
