Top Shelf Lacquer Holiday Flake Out Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Holiday Flake Out Collection for Holiday 2016 from Top Shelf Lacquer to share with you! This collection is made up 12 polishes containing ultra chrome flakies and a holo sparkle. There is a nice variety of polishes with colored bases along with ones with a clear base for easier layering. Check out the swatches after the jump!

Blue Bell Cocktail is a royal blue jelly base loaded with ultra chrome flakies that shift between purple to red with flashes of blue...along with a holo sparkle. The formula was good, it is sheer at first due to the jelly base but it built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Blue Coconut Cocktail is a dark teal jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between purple, teal and blue...there is also a holo sparkle. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and built up easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Candy Cane Martini is a clear base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between red, orange, yellow and green...along with holo sparkle. This can be worn as a topper or you could sponge it on to get it fully opaque. The formula was good, as a topper you get great flakie and holo payoff with 1 coat. I used 1 coat plus top coat over black for the photos below.

Chocolate Raspberry Martini is a dark chocolate brown base with ultra chrome flakies that shift betweenpink, orange and gold along with a holo sparkle. The formula was good, it was a little bit more sheer than I expected from the dark base but it was easy to apply and built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Cranberry Moscow Mule is a medium/dark fuchsia jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between pin, red, orange and yellow with holo sparkle. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.  good 3 coats plus tc

Fireside Delight is a black jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between pink gold, green, orange and yellow with a holo sparkle. This is one of my favorites of the collection, the way the flakies stand out against the base is beautiful. I decided to show this one matte in addition to glossy, all of the polishes in this collection look great matte!  The formula was the same as the previous polishes, easy to apply but sheer and buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Happy Elf is a clear base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between green, yellow, orange and red with holo sparkle. This works best as a topper but can be sponged on for full opacity. The formula was good, you get great payoff with 1 coat. I used 1 coat plus top coat over black for the photos below.

Mulled Wine is a royal purple jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between purple, blue, teal and green with a holo sparkle. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and build to full opacity. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Santa-tini is a red jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between red, orange and gold along with a holo sparkle. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and east to apply. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Snowball Cocktail is a clear base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between blue, purple, green and teal with holo sparkle. This can be a topper (how I prefer it) or sponged for full opacity. I used 1 coat plus top coat over black for the photos below.

The Grinch  is a green jelly base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between green, pink and silver and holo sparkle. This is the only one of the collection that I don't care for, it just didn't do much for my skin tone. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and built easily. I used 3 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Winter Ruby is a clear base with ultra chrome flakies that shift between pink, orange, gold and yellow and holo sparkle. This can be worn as a topper or sponged on for full opacity. The formula was good, it gives great flakie payoff in 1 coat. I used 1 coat plus top coat over black for the photos below.

Overall I think this collection is really pretty, my picks are Fireside Delight, Blue Bell Cocktail and Santa-tini.
