First Impression Friday: Moo Moo Signatures

Happy Friday! Anyone doing fun things for the weekend? I'm hoping to get the majority of my kitchen cabinets painted white. Its the last thing that needs to be done to finish my kitchen so I need to kick my butt into gear and do it!

This week for First Impression Friday I have some polishes from Moo Moo Signatures to share with you! These are made by the same person who runs Mei Mei Signatures, an etailer that sells a variety of brands. I had a bunch of Moo Moo Signatures polishes on my wishlist for a long time but finally a beautiful swatch from KellieGonzo pushed me over the edge and I finally bought some!

I placed my order on 5/31/16 and they arrived on 6/8/16. The shipping time was out of control fast, these came all the way from Singapore to So Cal in a week! The polishes were shipped in a plastic bag mailer and each was heavily bubbled wrapped so nothing broke in transit. There was also a business card included and even an extra which was unexpected and beyond generous. Once you unwrap the polishes they are each in a little tulle-like bag with sequins on it, there was also a little pom pom that matched the color of the polish. All together it was a really nice presentation and I appreciate when I get stuff with that extra little something like the bags and pom poms.

Check out the polishes I got after the jump!

Painted Polish Holo Blackout & Stoned on Sapphire Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was good...got some stuff done around my house! Today I have a couple polishes from Painted Polish to share with you. Both of these are super gorgeous glitters!

First up is Holo Blackout, a black holographic glitter. This isn't silver holo glitter in a black base, its actually black holo glitter in a clear base. I don't have anything quite like this so its a welcome addition to my stash! You could wear this as a super dense glitter topper or you can build it up to be opaque on its own...I personally like it on its own! The formula was good, it was a little thick but I had no issues with application and the glitter payoff was good. I used 3 coats for my photos below, but next time I'll probably sponge on the second layer to save some time! This does dry with a little bit of texture so you'll want to top coat it to smooth it out and shine it up!

Stoned On Sapphire is sapphire blue holo glitter in a clear base. This is what I'm talking about, if you like blues and don't already have this you'll want to pick it up! The formula was good, a little bit thick like Holo Blackout but easy to apply. The glitter payoff was really good, it was easy to get opaque on its own in 3 thin coats. This also dried with a little texture, I used top coat for my photos.

Both of these polishes are available now at PaintedPolish.com, each one retails for $10!

Sunny's Body Products Summer Essentials Box Review

First Impression Friday: Lollipop Posse Lacquer

Happy Friday! For First Impression Friday this week I have a few goodies I picked up from Lollipop Posse Lacquer to share with you! I came across this brand on Instagram a while back and they've been on my list ever since. They make a nice variety of finishes so I decided to pick out a couple different finishes to help get a feel for the brand.

I placed my order on 6/1/16 and received it on 6/11/16. The polishes were mailed in a pretty purple bubble mailer and wrapped individually with bubble wrap. There was also a business card and a lollipop (very fitting) included with the package!

Check out what I got after the jump!

Powder Perfect New Color4Nails Exclusives Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have 2 new Powder Perfect polishes that are exclusive to Color4Nails to share with you! These are available now and as always the code PolishAh10 will save you 10% off of your order if you want to pick these up!

Beguiling Presence is a light dusty pink with a subtle holo and green flecks of shimmer. The shimmer is hard to see once the polish is on the nails but it was visible in the bottle. The formula was really nice, it was a good consistency and had great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Breathless Whisper is a light grey crelly with blue and pink shimmer. Out of these 2 polishes this one is my favorite, the shade of grey is flattering and easy to wear and the shimmer adds a nice touch to it. The formula was ok, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply but a little bit sheer. It does build fairly easy and was opaque in 3 coats for me.

Both of these polishes are available only at Color4Nails.com, each one retails for $12. You can also save 10% with the code PolishAh10.

Hi guys! Today I have July 2016 from Nine Zero Lacquer to share with you! This newest monthly is a really pretty dark gold with a nice linear holo and little bits of  holo glitter for extra sparkle. I'm usually not a gold kind of girl but I think the darkness of this one makes it easier to wear.

The formula was great, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply with really great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Nine Zero Lacquer is available at NineZeroLacquer.com, July 2016 retails for $11

Seche Premier Colour System Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Sorry for the little disappearance last week, my kitchen countertops went in and I was under the weather for a few days so those 2 things really did me in and I just didn't have the energy to edit photos for blog posts.

Today I have my swatches and thoughts about the brand new Seche Premier Colour System to share with you, these are made by the same company that Seche Vite is made by!  This is a 3 step system that launched with 24 shades along with a base and top coat. This is meant to be a long wearing gel-like system without the process of using UV or LED lights to cure your nails, the top coat fuses everything together with natural sun light.

Click the read more button below to see all the swatches and find out how these wore for me!

Polish My Life Stronger Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Hope you had a nice weekend! Mine was busy but good, I cleaned like a boss all weekend. I had to completely clean out my kitchen because my countertops are FINALLY getting done! To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I've had the entire thing paid for since March but it was pushed back since then because of Degen getting hurt then the contractor I hired being on another job. I'll probably post before and after pictures once its 100% done since I still have to finish painting the cabinets after everything else is done.

Today I have a new polish from Polish My Life to share with you called Stronger. Stronger is a really pretty barbie pink with golden shimmer. This polish is a charity polish with the proceeds going towards the fundraising goal for a 3 day walk Shaneka's  (the maker of Polish My Life) friends are doing in Atlanta in October. The walk is put on by the Susan G Komen foundation and raises money for Breast Cancer Research, you can read more about it here. This polish is available now through September 24th so make sure you grab it while you can!

The formula of Stronger was really nice, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. It starts out a little sheer but builds easily. I used 2 coats for my photos but depending on your application you may need 3.

Stronger is available now at PolishMyLife.com, it retails for $10. All sales of Stronger (minus shipping) will be going towards the fundraising goal!

First Impression Friday: Vapid

Happy Friday! This week for First Impression Friday I have a few goodies from Vapid to share with you! Vapid sells an assortment of products from polish to hand and body care and more. Vapid is a pretty well known indie, I had always heard of them through people complaining about restocks haha! Honestly that put me off of the brand for a long time but I finally gave in and decided to try my luck during a restock...it really wasn't crazy like I had expected. If restocks that might get crazy put you off I wouldn't let it stop you from trying this brand, I just looked at their website and they have a ton of stuff in stock right now so it looks like that may not be an issue anymore.

This post is actually made up of 2 different orders. I think the second order arrived around the time everything was going on with my Grandma being in the hospital so I didn't write down any of the info about when it arrived :( The first order I did manage to keep track of though! I placed my first order on 1/30/16 and it arrived to me on 2/13/16, so a little less than 2 weeks. I know that Vapid must get about a bajillion orders during restocks so I don't think that turn around time is bad at all.

The polishes arrived in a box and were individually bubble wrapped and wrapped in tissue paper. There was some super cute heart shaped glitter in the box also, I totally tried to grab it all to save for nail art should the mood strike. There was also a business card, branded sticker, invoice copy and a cute little squishy animal. Overall A+ presentation!

Check out everything I got after the jump!

Hi guys! Today I have a couple new Cadillacquer polishes to share with you, both of these are exclusive to Color4Nails. As always you can save 10% off at Color4Nails with the code PolishAh10!

First up is Ethereal is a turquoise base with green shimmer and green/gold flakes. The flakes are a little hard to see but the shimmer is nice and noticeable! The formula was really nice, it was a good consistency and easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The other new exclusive shade is Oblivion, a taupe-y brown with violet shimmer. The shimmer is nice and noticeable in this one also. I don't think I'll ever get tried of these types of polishes, the neutral with a fun pop! The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. It was a bit sheer but it built easily and was opaque in 3 coats.

Both of these polishes are exclusive to Color4Nails.com and they both retail for $14.50, the code PolishAh10 will save you 10% on your order!

Powder Perfect Midlands Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have the Midlands Collection from Powder Perfect to share with you! This collection is inspired by the part of England that is home to a lot of interesting things including Sherwood Forest which is what this collection is mostly inspired by! I actually had no idea how many things were inspired by people and places in that area, I was doing some reading while procrastinating on writing this post and got sucked in. Check out the swatches after the jump!

First Impression Friday: Starrily

Happy Friday! Anyone have fun plans for the long weekend if you're in the US? I'm planning on organizing my nail room and getting stuff together for a destash. I've been planning on that since February then life went crazy and it fell to the back burner...until now!

This week for First Impression Friday I have a couple polishes from Starrily to share with you. This is more like a second impression I guess? I picked up a Starrily in my first Live Love Polish order that was featured in a first impression post a while back. These 2 polishes I bought directly form the brand. Starrily was on my need to try list for a long time but I had always heard about how slow their shipping was so I never bought. I guess I finally wanted to see for myself if the shipping really was slow, spoiler alert...it wasn't.

I placed my order on 1/26/16 and everything arrived on 1/30/16! The polishes were shipped in a small box and wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper that was sealed with a cute little thank you sticker. There was also a business card and a copy of my order.  Check out what I got after the jump!
