Public Relations and Press Samples

Most of the items reviewed on The PolishAholic are purchased, however I do accept products for review from brands and public relations representatives. Receipt of a product does not constitute a contract for a published review of the product. Receipt of a product does not guarantee a favorable review. Reviews are done based on honest assessments of the products and content is not preapproved by PR representatives or brands. PR representatives or brands that wish to impose such limitations will not be accepted for review.

As of 3/18/13 all items received from brands and/or PR representatives are disclosed as such at the beginning and end of each post containing editorial samples by using the "Press Sample" button you can see below this paragraph. Posts prior to 3/18/13 are disclosed at the bottom of each post with an image stating the products in the post were sent for review. All reviews are 100% honest, receiving samples never influences whether or not I like a product.

Polishes that are collaborations are marked as "press sample" monetary compensation for these collaborations is not provided unless noted at the end of the post.

If you are interested in having a product reviewed on The PolishAholic please contact Jen at thepolishaholic@gmail.com. Please note, not every offer for review is accepted and typical turn around time if I choose to publish a review of the product is 3-4 weeks.
